FlipBook HD
FlipBook HD has a nice and clean and relatively clear interface, so you don´t need to spend much time to find out to use the App.
The app is about drawing frame by frame, but it has supplemented the classical tecnique with a keyframe feature. The keyframe feature is not quite clear at first sight, but the developer has made a few tutorial videos with helpful demonstrations of this feature among other tips. It is possible to import photos and images from the photo album of the iPad and animate them using the keyframe feature, but as the app doesn´t import png files, you have to erase backgrounds around the imported image object another time, if you import png images already prepared for the animation. However you can easily import images and use them for backgrounds for the animation. The app offer onion skin and a smart pressure sensitive brush, features which you can deselect if you don´t want to use them. You can freely select framerate between one to thirty, and you can select to export your animation as 480, 1024 or 1280 aspect ratio. |
No youTube videos with user animations yet...
I didn´t succeed in finding some published youTube video of animations made in FlipBook HD, so I imported a tutorial video for the app instead.
Hopefully somebody is going to post some fine animations from the app in the future. |
